  1. The last time I was in cinema I saw Inglorious Bastards. It was the film, that I was afraid of. I thought the it would be next Quentin Tarantino film with convolute storyline, and which should be funny but it would not. But I was wrong..:)
I really, really like this film:) It was one of my best films I saw in this year :)

  2. One of the best movies I've seen in the past few years is definately "Sever Pounds" directed by Gabriele Muccino, starring Will Smith and Rosario Dawson.

The whole story is really absorbing and mysterious til the end, which is really touching.

I wouldn't advice anyone to read about the plot because it spoils the fun a little bit. I had a great time figuring out what is this all about.

Everything you may want to see/read about the movie is here:

On Friday, i saw The Departed (infiltracja). it's not new blockbuster but it's worth to see thanks to jack nicholson (as Frank Costello - influential mafia boss) and matt damon (as special agent working for mafia) aand di caprio (special agent too, but he does not work for mafia :> ) More at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407887/

  4. About a week ago I've finished "Hyperion" by Dan Simmons. It's a first part from a s-f series. Main plot is about 7 pilgrims going to mysterious structure called The Tombs of Time. A place where Shrike lives - bloody machine god. Everyone have own reason to tell Shrike a wish. Only one is said to get out alive.
What is most interesting are those personal reasons - each one different, presented as separate story inside this novel. What is disappointing for me is the lack of s-f realism - writing a book on a paper in 28th century, planets where only one city have any significance, etc. I have a feeling that it could be much better fantasy novel. Anyway I spent a good time reading it and will get the next part.

  5. Recently,I have seen two polish films, namely "Mniejsze zło" and "Nigdy nie mów nigdy". Those are quite good films which you can watch in order to relax. If you are tired of everyday life you should see them. They are nice, light and funny and because of it you can forget about your problems while watching them.

  7. Just about two weeks ago, we went to the theatre, something like "culture venture".
From time to time man can, unfortunately forgetting about pop-corn, plastic cola cups and other stuff :) But it's absolutely worth to see.
The title of this play - "Czego nie widać" ["Noises off"]. Perfect comedy written by Michael Frayn, directed in Poland by Juliusz Machulski (known from: "Vabank", "Seksmisja", "Kingsize",...). And obviously phenomenal artists:
Joanna Żółkowska, Szymon Bobrowski, Rafał Królikowski, Agnieszka Krukówna, Cezary Żak, Kazimierz Kaczor and others.
It was one of the best plays that I've ever seen. Almost 3 hours of pure laugh. We ware convulsing with laughter.
I will not describe anything more. If somebody wants more info, should go and see. http://www.powszechny.art.pl/?mod=spektakle&action=spektakl&id=7

  8. Hi, recently I watched for a first time "Requiem for a dream" I know that its an old movie. I've watched it in the evening after it I couldn't fall asleep. This movie shows how the people can get easily addicted starting from small doses of drugs. The movie emphatically shows how the people are going down the grain.

    Really its worth watching

  9. Couple of days ago I saw a horror movie called Paranormal Activity. This movie is presented as a documentary, in a way similar to Blair Witch Project - based on the found footage which has been recorded by the couple to see what was haunting them inside their house. It gets quite scary towards the end of the movie and the "real camera action" makes it even more interesting. What is interesting, this movie earned over $100 million with a starting budget of $15,000. If you like horror or thriller movies you should definetely see this one.
